Our Team
All the members of our team have full DBS status, are qualified in their areas of expertise and have experience with working with neurodivergent young people. Read a little bit more about them below!

Alison
Director of Learning and Founder
I started in my home over 10 years ago. I’ve been a teacher in lots of different places, but this was my dream: to set up somewhere for the unique group of young people who come to us here at Annandale House.
I love dogs, music and crafting and I hope to visit Japan this year.

Ted
Company Director
I’m Ted and I am the other Company Director with Allie. You’ll find me supporting our young people to learn life skills.
Interesting things about me: I speak Russian, German and two Indian languages. I love rowing, skiing and orienteering. Most of all I love walking our dogs Stanley and Scruff. I’d like to do more sailing.

Kerry
Business and Finance Manager/Early Years Lead
Hi, my name is Kerry, and I am the Business and Finance Manager and I can be found in Annandale House on the 1 st floor in my office.
I enjoy spending time with my children and dogs and visiting historical places, Hampton court is a firm favourite.

Shelley
Learning and Attendance Administrator
Hi, I’m Shelley, I’m an Administrator at David Rees, and have the pleasure of showing new families around our hubs and introducing you to our team.
When I’m not at the hub I can be found volunteering at a local wheelchair rugby team, having fun with my family or walking my two dogs.

Tiffany
Wellbeing Co-ordinator and DSL
I am Tiffany, the Well-being Coordinator/ DSL.
You can find me at the top of Annandale House on the Well-being floor.
I am the link between our parents/carers and Hub life here.
I am a Thrive Practitioner, Drawing & Talking Practitioner and Senior Mental Health Lead.
I enjoy going out for walks with my dog “Huey Lewis” and reading when I have the time.

Simone
SEND Lead Co-ordinator and DSL
My name is Simone, or Sim as most like to call me. My current role is SEND Lead Coordinator and DSL.
I have always had a passion to make a difference in the lives of young people and I take my position very seriously.
When I am not at David Rees I enjoy being apart of my church’s pathfinder club, singing in church and creative pursuits, inclusive of creating my own art, as well as visiting galleries to view others, I also enjoy a good game of chess.

Mel
Primary Coordinator and CYP Life Coach
I’m Mel and you can find me on the ground floor of Annandale House where I work with children on their learning and well-being.
I’m a primary teacher, Relax Kids and Cosmic Kids yoga coach and training in EFT or tapping.
I travelled around the world many years ago and have stood on the Great Wall of China and in the Grand Canyon.
I love working with the extraordinary children here!

Nellie
Hub Co-ordinator
Hi, I’m Nellie. I’m the Hub Co-ordinator at David Rees. I also lead Forest School and teach History and Politics, French and some Maths.
I’m normally found on the middle floor of Annandale House in the room with the colourful door.
When I’m not at work I love singing and playing musical instruments, climbing mountains, enjoying the outdoors and running a Squirrrel Scout Drey. I’m also really interested in languages.

Joe
Marketing Manager
My name is Joe and I’m the Marketing Manager. You can find me in my office or in the garden playing basketball or football.
I like playing golf, cricket, training MMA and enjoy watching Arsenal win. COYG.

Tayha
SEND Teaching Partner
My name is Tayha, at David Rees my current role is SEND Teaching Assistant and Life Skills Coach.
I enjoy working with young people and being able to make positive influence on people’s lives.
I enjoy baking and when I’m not at David Rees I am often spending time with my two dogs.

Shelley
EYFS Specialist Practitioner
Hi, my name is Shelley. I have worked in early years for nearly 30 years. I am very passionate about what I do and enjoy working to make a difference to young people.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my children and grandchildren and walking our family dog, Toby, who is an energetic Cocker Spaniel. I also enjoy art and crafty activities, and spending time on my boat on the River Severn and watching the wildlife along the river.

Charlie
SEMH Practitioner
My name is Charlie and I am an SEMH Practitioner.
I have worked with Neurodivergent young people for nearly 10 years.
I am Australian, I love reading, spending time with my bonkers pets (3 cats and 2 tortoises) and family, oh and eating cake.
You will find me on the top “Wellbeing Floor”.
